Incorporated in Penang Malaysia, SMPC industries is a wholly owned subsidiary of SMPC Corporation Berhad, a company listed on the Malaysian Stock Exchange. With over 30 years experience, the SMPC group is an established leader in the Iron & Steel Industry.

SMPC Industries has two state-of-the-art Metal Coil Processing centres, one operating in Prai Industrial Estate, the Northern Region of Malaysia and the other is located in Kapar-Klang Valley. The processing centre' core operations comprise the shearing, re-shearing and slitting of metal coils and manufacturing processes.

As the Steel Industry recovers from the 90's economic crisis, SMPC Industries has created a new range of value added services and diversified its products line to cater to new domestic and international markets. These include the manufacturing of steel office furniture, strapping and pipe manufacturing.
